EXPEDITION TRAINING BLUE MOUNTAINS

The Blue Mountains, Australia
EXPEDITION TRAINING BLUE MOUNTAINS COURSE OVERVIEW

An expedition and mountaineering skills course held in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Learn technical roping skills used during mountaineering adventures and pursuits worldwide to increase your level of confidence and safety. All within the beautiful training ground of the Blue Mountains.

Many of the skills required to be safe and successful on a mountaineering endeavour can be learnt on the rock. A solid technical skill base and a strong mental fortitude are key to being prepared for any mountain climb. The Blue Mountains offers fabulous opportunities to improve both of these with its exposed sandstone cliffs and rugged steep terrain.

During the one day course you will learn many tips and tricks to help you succeed and stay safe in the mountains. You will also learn how to safely use the appropriate technical equipment for your climb. This course is designed for novice mountain climbers or for mountaineers wanting to practise their roping techniques before heading off on their next adventure or expedition.

It is recommended that you also complete the multi pitch abseiling course for additional skills and safety techniques.
